I am always interested in buying, exchanging or part exchanging English hammered silver and gold coins from the same periods listed on this site. I particularly like scarce mints and moneyers and scarce types.

I prefer my coins to have a provenance but will also consider metal detector finds recorded on the Portable Antiquities Scheme (PAS) website Finds.org.uk or the Fitzwilliam Museum's Early Medieval Corpus (EMC). Please do not offer me metal detecting finds that haven't been recorded by either of these respected authorities.
It is important that single coin finds, especially unusual ones, are recorded – and it will add value to your finds and make them easier to sell. The above sites are also an excellent research and reference resource.
